Capacity building programmes
BASP capacity building programmes include 2 components:
1. basic consulting skills (ethics in consulting, marketing and sales, incl. profile development, consultant offer/proposal development), business communication skills, management of consulting business, tools;
2. subject matter expertise (tax, legal aspects, marketing)
Access to subsidies
Subsidising/payment approach for Business Advisory Services without distorting the market
Promotion BASP data base through PEAK and web-site
PEAK creates a pool of the assessed BASPs and promotes them through PEAK channels, including its website, social accounts, etc.
Customer development program
PEAK provides a free access to the PEAK clients’ database
Networking
PEAK provides an access to international expertise. Direct Market Linkage model will allow BASPs to work with each other to support startups and MSMEs.

Who can apply?

  • Work experience in profession (for individuals) or legal registration (for legal entities)- minimum 3 years
  • Language: Russian or Kyrgyz
  • At least 3 (for individual consultants) and five (for legal entities) MSME/startups supported in 2018-2019

How to apply?

Step 1: Application
We invite you to fill in the application form to participate in PEAK programmes for BASPs.
This step may take up to 30 minutes.
Action you need to take:
Read information about the programme and eligibility criteria.
Fill in the application form.
Step 2: Eligibility preselection and BASP Profile
We will screen and shortlist the applications.
This step may take up to 10 working days.
Action you need to take:
Await our response.
In case you receive a question from us please respond within maximum 2 days.
You need to fill out BASP profile.
Step 3: Viability and credibility assessment
We will select 3 clients and ask for reference. We will assess the references against the following (i) clients’ satisfaction, (ii) general assessment of BAS market, (iii) potential need in BAS.
This step may take up to 15 working days.
Action you need to take:
You need to inform the three PEAK-selected referees, get their consent to be asked a reference and then provide their contact details to PEAK.
Step 4: Vetting
We will conduct a mini due diligence check against the PEAK requirements.
This step may take up to 7 working days.
Action you need to take:
You will be required to provide a certificate of registration, certificates from tax authority and social fund, company’s charter, copy of passport, and recommendation letters. When inquired, please submit the documents within maximum 2 days.
Step 5: Approval form DFID
We will submit the list of selected applicants to DFID for approval.
This step may take up to 3 working days.

Await for our final invitation.
Step 6: Invitation to programme
We will inform you via email about inclusion to a PEAK database.
This step may take up to 2 working days.
Action you need to take:
Plan accordingly to allocate sufficient time for the programmes when launched.
